Faith Aid Initiative For Humanity Uganda program has successfully trained 70 youth leaders in Rhino camp Refugee settlement. The very intensive but exciting 8 days was marked by teachings, worship and counseling. Most tribes from South Sudan were fully represented in the training. Many Church denominations sent their youth to be trained. This kind of training started since 2017 to address the spiritual needs of young people in the refugee camps.

FAITH South Sudan/Uganda is grateful for what we able to do in spite of the global pandemic. God is faithful to those who are faithful to Him. It is a great thing to serve the Lord Jesus by serving others.
Praise God from whom all grace comes. We thank God for His protection in the midst of the crisis. The world is going through enormous difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic. As an organization our activities are also affected by the restrictions put in place to prevent the spread of the virus. We thank God that none of our team members have contracted the virus. We were not able to send our prayer letters as expected. We are sorry about that.
Because our main ministry is training, most of our activities were stopped due to Covid-19. Our newly established schools ran only for one and a half months before they were closed down. We however started The Ravens Project to distribute food items to vulnerable households in Yei South Sudan.
Please pray for the following prayer needs:
The above picture is of our food distribution project in Yei under The Ravens Project.
That is FAITH’s response to Covid-19 pandemic. We were able to provide the most needed food for 120 vulnerable households. This is supported by HFB International and the phase two will be done with funding raised from facebook fundraiser.
We would like to extend this project to Juba. We have setup a gofundme fundraiser to raise funds for that purpose.

We are doing leadership training for Church and Community leaders from all Church denominations in Yei this week. We will write more about this in the next issue of our prayer letter.
We are happy to have our planned Leadership training for Church and community leaders in September. 40 church and community leaders are expected to undergo 4 days of training in Yei South Sudan. This is part of the Yei Outreach Project with support from HFBI our Germany partners.
As we continue our response to the impact of the lockdown on the urban poor in the cities of Yei and Juba, South Sudan, we have set up crowdfundraising to raise funds to distribute food items to 120 Vulnerable households in each city. Your donation will be a blessing to someone in need.
If you are able and would like to contribute to one or both of these needs, please use the appropriate link(s) on our DONATE page.
(Alternatively, you can access the fundraiser for Juba, South Sudan directly below.)
As Covid-19 continues to negatively affect communities around the world, the most vulnerable people are badly hit by the impact of lockdown. Yei is not an exception. People here are really suffering and in need of humanitarian support. Faith South Sudan carried out phase two of the Ravens Project last week. 20 most vulnerable households received food items. These were selected based on their condition.
We thank those who supported this phase.
Over one hundred Church members Vulnerable households received food items at our Yei office today. The Ravens Project is a project aimed to help people cope with the effects of Covid-19 pandemic. Each household received soap for hand washing one of the most important preventive measures against Corona virus.
Thanks to HBF.org for supporting.
FAITH has designed a relief project.
We call it THE RAVENS PROJECT (1 Kings 17:4-6). We would like to distribute food items to 100 Vulnerable households who are already starving because of the lockdown here in Yei South Sudan due to Covid-19. We would like to distribute food items to these people this month of May. People in Yei have suffered as a result of the war and lost most of their livelihood. Because of the lockdown, most of the people have no business to feed their families.
Partner with us to feed a vulnerable family. Your one-time donation of $10 can help us feed a vulnerable family for two days.
Faith Uganda is training 100 youth leaders from Rhino camp settlement this year. Phase 1 of the Training took place from 27th to 30th January 2020. Many of these young people gave their lives to Jesus during the training.
50 Church and community leaders are undergoing training to become servant leaders in Yei South Sudan. This is part of the Yei Outreach Project.
